Welcome to,
This unsolicited project aims to provide a convenient and engaging way for users to stay hydrated and achieve their health goals. The project has Liquid Death creating an app that not only allows users to purchase merch, but also helps them keep track of their water intake. With this app, users can record every can of Liquid Death they chug, input their daily dosage, and track their progress towards their healthy water intake goal.
Murder your thirst while keeping track of you water intake.
Jeff & Josh's Lean UX Canvas.
The main challenge I faced while working on this project solo was having to dive into these canvases without access to extensive data or a team to assist me. However, I found both tasks equally challenging, and I tried to make the most of it by trusting my intuition and finding ways to enjoy the process!
It's important to note that the majority of this project involved implementing activities from the book and as a result, there may not be adequate metrics to measure its success as it is not an actual product.
(skip the stupid boring research and see the beautiful screens)
1. Business problem
what problem does the business have that you are trying to solve?
The current state of Liquid Death has focused mainly on Merch, Celebrity collabs, beverages, eco friendly waste management, funny clever ad campaigns, and their hatred to cooperate marketing!
Business problem
What Liquid death might fail to address is our customers true water intake and self-care with the LD’s water. This new product will address this gap by our approach of curating a water reminder app and to get our users pissing clear instead of yellow.
Business problem
The initial focus will be health gurus, busy workers, and overall super fans who have an obsession with drinking water, preferably Liquid Death.
We will know when we are successful when we see an increase in downloads and an overall healthy society due to the death of plastic.
2. Business Outcome
How will you know you solved the business problem? What will you measure?
Please note that many of these metrics will be measured after the product has been released. The majority of these metrics will be based on customer satisfaction and post launch analysis.
Hypothetically, if this application is based on fantasy ideas, we will conduct proper research by using A/B testing, analytics, and interviews with the right audience. This will help us to refine the application and tailor it to the needs of our users.
Metric Mountain
Our Goal is to have a high adoption rate for the new feature LD is building. You aim to have at least 75% of the daily visitors discover the application, and from that group, 50% of them should try it out.
Among those who try it out, you hope that 25% of them will continue to use the feature on a weekly basis. Finally, your ultimate goal is to have 10% of those who continue to use the feature pay for it...
but the ones that delete the app are total nerds!
User Story
Persona: Bill
Scenario: Found application link on LD box.
Expectations:
+ Activate the product
+ Return daily intake
+ Show friend
3. Users
What types (personas) of users and customers should you focus on first?
4. User Outcomes & Benefits
Why would your users seek out your product? What benefit would they gain from using it? what behavior change can we observe that tells us they've achieved their goal?
5. Solution
What can we make that will solve our business problem and meet the needs of our customers at the same time? List products, features, or enhancement ideas.

Key Takeaways.
Although it took some time, I'm really happy with the outcome of this project! I feel like I've made a real contribution to tackling the dehydration epidemic. Of course, there were some challenges along the way - one of the biggest was obtaining measured data to add to my research. But despite this, I trusted my intuition and drew inspiration from various competitors, incorporating great ideas into my work.

Looking to the future, I'm excited to expand the project even further. For instance, I'd love to add more screens - such as an onboarding process, a merchandise checkout, and a receipt scanning feature using the camera.
